India’s Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Saturday declared the Indian Forest Service (IFS) examination 2022 results. Thiruvananthapuram native Anand Justin managed to clinch 117th rank out of the 147 candidates who fetched success in IFS exam.

The youngster hailing from Valiyathura has become the first person from the state capital’s fishing community to become an IFS officer. He failed to crack the UPSC interview thrice and landed his dream role on the seventh attempt.

According to Justin, “More than achievement, this is an opportunity to traverse a new path.” Justin remained unruffled in the face of hurdles and setbacks. His success offers hope to many. He has been working with a private IAS coaching academy as a tutor.
