The 16th edition of the Pêcheurs du monde film festival will be held in Lorient, France from 17 to 24 March 2024. Under the theme “The fisherman, the sea and the plate”, the festival w ill provide a forum for interaction between between seafarers and cinema enthusiasts.
The dual imperative of feeding the population and safeguarding the quality of the oceans will be discussed in Films from various maritime backgrounds. For over a week, cooks, gastronomes and scientists will ponder over the future of fishing, fisheries and the oceans on which humanity depends.
