In the context of International Women’s Day, the Fisheries and Aquaculture Division (NFI) of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN, is organizing a hybrid event to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the SSF Guidelines.
The event will cover highlights of the work to implement the SSF Guidelines and the broader efforts towards the achievement of gender equality throughout the fisheries and aquaculture sectors. Panelists from Asia, Europe, Africa and the Americas will showcase experiences and lessons learnt with final aim to stimulate discussions on how future efforts can ensure we move forward in the struggle against gender inequalities.
