A day after seizing two fishing boats from Harami Nala off Kutch coast, the Border Security Force (BSF) detained three more Pakistani fishing boat from the same waters on Wednesday but no fisherman was arrested. During a patrolling exercise, a party of BSF found a fishing boat operating in Indian waters approximately 50 km north of Lakhpat coast of Kutch at 10 AM. As the patrol party challenged the fishermen, they abandoned their boat and managed to run away towards the Pakistan side of the marshy territory, Kutch West police said. Around 50 minutes later, another boat was seized by the border guards from the same waters. This was followed by seizure of yet another fishing boat later in the day. However, no fisherman was arrested as all of them managed to escape. “We have received primary information about seizures of boats. The BSF, however, has not formally intimated us about the operations, Kutch West police superintendent Makrand Chauhan told The Indian Express. The seizures comes a day after two Pakistani fishing boats were sized from Harami Nala, a marshland where both India and Pakistan have not been able to agree on a borderline and demarcate it.
