The Coast Guard has reported another incident of a boat capsize. Fishing boat Sati Savitri with three fishermen on board, had capsized at 11.35 am, off Kotepura, near Old Port,Mangaluru. The boat had left Malpe three days ago and was heading towards Mangaluru. While one fisherman swam and reached the shore near Old Port, Mangalore, Coast Guard Karnataka, on receipt of information, diverted its helicopter from the assigned area for the search and rescue of the other two missing fishermen. Later, of the two missing fishermen, one more managed to reach ashore. Coast Guard Karnataka stated it is leaving no stone unturned to ensure his safety. The search is in progress.
