Pakistan Marine Security Agency (PMSA) abducted one Indian boat from the International Maritime Boundary Line (IMBL) on Thursday early morning. The fishermen along the Gujarat coast have started fishing from August 16 this year. “The boat captured by PMSA has been identified as Geeta-Bharati and it is from Mangrol town of Junagadh district. The fishermen were fishing near the IMBL when the Pakistani agency abducted them. The number of fishermen who were abducted along with the boat is yet to be ascertained. It is believed to around six,” said Bharat Modi, president of Porbandar Macchimar Boat Association. According to sources, over 426 Gujarat fishermen are lodged at various jails in Pakistan.
