It is being hosted by the National Fishworkers Forum (NFF), a federation of Small and traditional fishworkers unions from across India. THe WFFP GA7 will be attended by more than 100 international delegates, representing unions of small and traditional fishers, from across 50 different countries and by fishworkers from across India. From the ‘One Fish, One fishworker’ campaign (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_ngUC4zhKY), reaching out to various people requesting for funds to Selling Pickles (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iIqkhYaT_SI) the NFF has used different creative ideas to raise funds to cover costs for the participation of the small and traditional fishers from across the country. As part of this fund-raising initiative, friends of NFF from Chennai are organizing a Sea Food festival on the 4th of November 2017.
