(UNI) Goa Fisheries Minister Vinod Palyekar on Tuesday said that he has directed his department to start cracking down on use of LED for fishing. He also said that he had asked the department to form squads and confiscate equipment used for fishing. ”Have directed my Fisheries Dept to start cracking down on #LEDFishing. Have asked them to form squads & confiscate equipment’s used for #LEDFishing,” he said in a post on twitter.
