The Punjab Fisheries Department will establish a fish hatchery at Silanwali for which the Punjab chief minister approved Rs580 million funds. According to a spokesman, a team of Fisheries Department comprising Deputy Director Zahid Sharif, AD Sheikh Shafi-ur-Rehman and others has declared 150-acre government land at Chak 188-NB feasible for the project, adding that PC-I was being drafted on priority and work on the project would be started in July.
