France today said India’s stand on climate change will be a significant factor to arrive at an agreement in the future and stressed the need to understand specific conditions of countries involved in the issue.
“It is very important for us to know exactly what the approach of India is (on the issue of climate change) and to appropriate its point of view,” French Ambassador for Climate Change Negotiations Serge Lepeltier said in New Delhi today.
