The bodies of two fishermen killed during a fire on their ship were found on Monday afternoon at the port of Montevideo, a Uruguayan National Fire Service spokesman told AFP.
The two Vietnamese men were crewmembers on a South Korean fishing vessel when fire erupted Saturday. They had been missing since the blaze started.
‘The two charred bodies were found inside the ship, in the back,’ said Mr Leandro Palomeque, public relations chief for the Fire Service.
Six other crewmembers were injured, which included two Chinese and four Vietnamese. Two of them are ‘in a very delicate condition’ from the burns they suffered, Mr Palomeque said.
