Fisheries officers from Fiji visited Nukulau Island, off mainland Viti Levu today to verify the deaths of over fifty baby hammerhead sharks over the weekend.
FBC News was on Nukulau Island, where the dead sharks washed up ashore.
Permanent Secretary for Fisheries Inoke Wainiqolo says, the team is compiling their report which will be handed over to him once it’s finalized.
