Following the announcement of a general strike that will affect public transportation in Belgium on 22 April 2015, the organisers of Seafood Expo Global have put an extensive transportation plan in place.

The organisers have been working closely with the city of Brussels and the police on a transportation plan to include a complimentary shuttle service between accessible locations in the city of Brussels and the BRUSSELS EXPO for visitors and exhibitors on 22 April 2015.

6 Pickup and Drop off Zones in the City:

Rogier: Koning Albert II laan/Blvd Roi Albert II
Central Station: Kardinaal Mercierstraat
Louiza: Poelaertplein
De Brouckere: Emile Jacqmainlaan between Nieuwbrug & Sint-Michielsstraat
Europe: Karel de Grotelaan/Blvd Charlemagne
Brussels Midi – station: Europa Esplanade/Esplanade d’Europe & Blvd. Jamar

All shuttles will run from 07:30-20:00 on a continuous loop on 22 April 2015. Representatives will be present at each pick up zone in the city to assist visitors and exhibitors.

Visitors and exhibitors will be dropped off at BRUSSELS EXPO: Eeuwfeestlaan/ Av. Centenaire. Those planning to return to Brussels may also take a shuttle from this location.

Current reports indicate air travel will not be impacted, however, the organisers are advising visitors to check with their airline for the most current status.

Information will be available on-site at the Strike Info Desk located in Hall 10 at the BRUSSELS EXPO, at all VisitBrussels desks (South Station and Brussels Airport) and the reception desks of the official exhibition hotels.
