Clashes erupted as hundreds of fishermen took to the streets of the Chilean port city of Valparaiso on Monday.
Demonstrators were protesting against the government’s fisheries policy, which they claim favors large fishing companies.
The police used water cannon to disperse the protesters, who interrupted traffic and threw stones at the police.
A protest last week shook the city, leaving two students dead.
