National fish workers’ forum will hold its national executive meeting on August 11 and 12. The forum will hold a two-day training programme for women on leadership qualities and sustainable fisheries development. Senior officials of the Puducherry administration, social activists, academicians and bankers will talk to the women leaders on their rights and on the supportive mechanisms extended by the government and non-government organizations to enhance their living standards. Forum chairperson M Ilango will preside over the meeting.
