Actor, writer- director Sharadchandra Jadhav felt that there was no Marathi film made on tribal ‘Koli’ community in Maharashtra. Hence, he has himself written the story of the film Ek Hota Valya’, shooting of which is nearing completion. Sharadchandra is performing the central character of Valya’ in this film, besides directing this film. He has claimed this film to be a realistic film on Koli community. It may be recalled that the Koli community were the original residents of Mumbai city island ; but have they got their rights? That’s a big question. Now, let us see, what Sharadchandra has to offer through his film. The response received for this film from Koli community has been good. Many of them have participated in the shooting of this film, at various locations. Produced by Mukesh Thombre, music by Ashok Waigankar & Nitesh Tiwari, cinematography by Augustyanag Jadhav are other credits. This film is expected to release soon.
