Myanmar’s picturesque Inle Lake was left in ruins after a powerful 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck, destroying traditional bamboo homes and submerging structures. The disaster, one of the strongest quakes in a century, has severely impacted infrastructure, hampering rescue efforts amid ongoing civil unrest. The death toll has risen to 2,065, with over 3,900 injured and 270 missing.
