On Monday, just four days after their departure from Bonfi port in Conakry to go fishing in the sea, their small boat was found some 9 km from Kassa island within Guinean waters, but with the fishermen missing.
The police sources said the boat capsized due to the bad weather that has been experienced in recent days along Guinean coastline.
A strong storm accompanied with strong rains hit Conakry and other neighbouring localities last Saturday, causing injuries and destruction of a lot of property.
Installations of some local radio stations were equally destroyed by the thunderstorm.
