A webinar is being organized on the Rules of Conduct for Partnering with Small-Scale Fishers, on 19 September 2024 at 3.30 PM CEST.

The webinar will provide a comprehensive introduction to the Rules of Conduct for Working with Small-Scale Fishers and Fishworkers in the context of marine and coastal conservation.

Attendees will learn how these guidelines support the meaningful and equitable participation of small-scale fisheries in ocean conservation efforts.

Following are the objectives of the webinar:

  1. Understand the SSF Rules of Conduct: Learn the principles that guide effective collaboration with small-scale fishers and fishworkers. 
  2. Promote Inclusive Engagement: Recognize the rights, aspirations, and traditional knowledge of SSF communities. 
  3. Encourage Action: Inspire organizations to commit to the SSF Call to Action and actively adhere to the SSF Rules of Conduct.
