This newsletter containing various papers on women in fisheries, is brought out for the International Conference on Women in Fisheries organized by the Indian Society of Fisheries Professionals, Mumbai in December 2001. The theme WIF was selected to focus attention on the contribution of women in the development of fisheries globally.
